I didn't know much about sunlight lamps, but I did some research.

And I reckon that they might not be as effective as real sunlight, but they are known to have several benefits.

They are an effective treatment for seasonal affective disorders. And they're also known to help with insomnia and other sleep irregularities by having a positive impact on sleep hormones.

So I think that they might be an effective substitute for real sunshine, but only occasionally.
