Hey Stephen, great piece!

I feel this too, and I understand your perspective here as a “consumer”. But since you’re a writer (a creator) and I am too, I’d love your take on the same issue from the perspective of a creator.

There are SO MANY content creators. On all platforms. All playing the quantity game to get the engagement without actually trying to deliver value. Many platforms, without taking names, have become downright cringy. People who haven’t done anything—all of them are giving success advice.

What mental framework do you use to keep creating in an ever-increasing noisy internet? Where you’re torn between wanting to find your spot—but also not wanting to contribute to the noise?

Basically I’d love your views on this topic, more from the perspective of a creator.
