A great and honest piece, Niharika!

Among the many reasons you stated, I deeply resonate with one. When a person shares how amazing his or her life is on Instagram, maybe a few get inspired. But many people get envious. And many even get insecure. An endless cycle of comparison, as you said.

I quit social media because I didn’t want to be a source of comparison that has the potential to make people feel bad in any way.

And besides that, life without social media has several benefits!
